Heidi G. Shegoski has over twenty years of experience representing a diverse clientele in a broad range of commercial real estate and business matters. Her commercial real estate practice includes the acquisition, sale, financing, leasing and construction of office, multi-family, retail and industrial sites. She has considerable experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated commercial leases on behalf of global companies and a REIT. Her residential real estate practice includes assisting clients in purchasing and selling their homes, whether a house, condominium or cooperative apartment as well as resolving zoning, environmental and title issues. She has represented financial institutions and borrowers in closing commercial real estate loans and loans securitized in the CMBS market.
In addition to an extensive real estate practice, Heidi practices general business law, counseling privately held companies. She works closely with business owners acting as outside general counsel providing practical advice on day to day operations, purchases and sales, commercial contracts, trademark defense, litigation oversight, dispute resolution and financing.
In addition, Heidi served as a meditation neutral assisting parties in resolving real estate, contract, partnership and construction disputes outside of litigation.
